How to Audition
1) Sign up for an audition time
2) Prepare 1 min. to 1.5 min. of a song of your choice that shows your range and acting ability.
Bring your music printed, double sided, and 3-hole punched. An accompanist will be
playing for the auditions.
Note:
When selecting your piece, consider the character you're auditioning for and the style of
the show in general. Do some research and cast yourself in a similar role to the one you're
auditioning for. Think about the character's unique qualities and pick a song that
convinces the directors you are right for the role. Be sure to choose within your age range
and lived experiences. Have fun!
